He was born in Istanbul in 1968. He is a member of IFSAK (Istanbul Amateur's Photography & Cinema Club). He graduated from Boston University as an Industrial Engineer. He has returned back to the family business after working for various companies as a professional engineer. He is currently continuing his family business.

His first interest in photography was started in 1980's while in high school. His articles about photography techniques have been published in a monthly photography magazine for approximately two years. Some of his landscape and city photos have been used for advertisement and presentation purposes by private companies as well as official corporations. Some of his photos have been rewarded and published in various locations. He has worked as a jury for some photography contests. In 2005, his photos have been sold in an aid campaign for tsunami survivors in Southeast Asia, which was organized by IFSAK & Beyoglu Municipality.

He is currently taking model photos and product photos for some agencies, as well as industrial and commercial photos for private companies professionally.
